Our Elizabeth (Lizz) Victory has begun rehearsals for the very challenging role of “Blood Mary” Queen Mary Tudor in the Ruby Productions stage presentation of A Feast with the Tudors. Lizz auditioned with a very difficult monologue revealing the depths of the queen’s sorrows after her father’s suspected murder and was awarded the coveted part. This play follows the life of King Henry VIII from when he desperately wanted a male heir, through his various wives and ends with his turbulent years with “Bloody Mary.” Performances dates are 1, 7, 8, 15 November at the Emu Sports Club in Leonay.
