Congratulations to STC’s Michael Monk, who is in the 1st round voting – AACTA Award “Best Supporting Actor in Film.” The CURB review of his performance in the feature film The Big Dog says “Michael Monk impresses as he brings a complicated and difficult character to life.” In this Dane McCusker comedy, Michael plays Sam, the son of stockbroker Richard Morgan (Julian Garner). I hope all our STC AACTA actors, colleagues and friends will support Michael by voting for him in this Australian equivalent of the Oscars.
