About Us
Established in 1983, Sydney Talent Company is recognized in the Australian entertainment industry as one of this country’s oldest registered professional talent agencies, representing actors on national and international films, TV dramas, commercials and stage projects. The director of STC is Jon-Claire Lee (PGA, MEAA, AWG, SAG, AEA, AFTRA) A graduate of New York University (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, and Masters of Fine Arts in Film and TV Directing), Mr. Lee came to Sydney in 1991 and assumed directorship of STC in 2001.
STC started the careers of many actors, who have gone on to work successfully in the industry. These include Dieter Brummer, Kate Garven and Beau Brady (Home and Away); Luke Jacobz (The X Factor); Delta Goodrum (Neighbours); Daniel Taylor (Escape From Jupiter), Sophie Luck (Blue Water High), Kain O’Keeffe (Pirate Island, Swimming Upstream), Brady Kitchingham (The Oyster Farmer), Harry Cook (Accidents Happen), Rebel Wilson (Perfect Pitch), Joel Edgerton (Star Wars, The Great Gatsby), Les Chantery (Pitch Black), Luke Ford (Animal Kingdom) and many, many others.
