Sydney Talent Company’s Short Films Screening today at The Showroom, Hornsby RSL culminated with a wonderful STC Acting Awards Ceremony.  Over 200 audience members witnessed the screening of Only One Wish, The Perfect Sister, U Did Wat, Hide and Seek and the world premiere of The Last Picnic.  The excitement built to a climax with the announcement of the Acting Awards by STC drama faculty members Daniel Sassen and Annette Labriola.  Here are the results!

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role: Lucas Semaan (The Perfect Sister) and Jacob El Mahir (The Last Picnic)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role: Tilly Keogh (Only One Wish) and Jessica Peake (The Last Picnic)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role: Cayde Fowler (The Perfect Sister), Liam Rayment (U Did Wat), and Aaron Nesbitt (The Last Picnic)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role: Melina Krkac (Only One Wish) and Laneikka Denne (The Last Picnic)

Audience Choice Award for Best Actress: Melina Krkac (Only One Wish) and Freja Baskeyfield (The Last Picnic)

Audience Choice Award for Best Actor: Aaron Nesbitt (The Last Picnic) and Daniel Gauci (The Last Picnic)
