Sydney Talent Company is proud to present the world premiere screening of the 30 min futuristic dark comedy drama THE LAST PICNIC on Sunday 16 March. In a parallel Earth somewhere in the universe, all looks familiar except everyone “retires” at our age 15 along with a “loved one” and lives out their remaining days or months of supposedly blissful existence in beautiful park surroundings. Close to retirement age, Adam revolts against the status quo and tries to escape the enforcers headed by Police Detective James the Just. A funny, touching and ultimately ultimately emotional journey of one individual trying to escape the inevitable.
